New Video Clips!

Thanks so much for all your support at our "summer tour" gigs! We've just uploaded 2 new video clips on our "video" page.
"Lady Marmalade" from What the Dickens, and "This Love" from The Fiddler. They're both a bit monochrome-ish and maybe a bit green-ish looking, but that's only because our videoman used "night mode" with his video cam when he shot them.
Okay -- hope you guys enjoy, and please write in your comments.

Also -- the band will be going into rehearsals this autumn to gear up with new songs.
If you have requests, please let us know!

As a vocalist, i used to always envy the other players in the bands i've sung in.
They all had instruments that they could carry, play, polish, and adore.
I had nothing, because back then i just sang.

But about 10 years ago, SHE came into my life
-- a beautiful vintage Les Paul TV Special. I'm sure that she'd been held and stroked by dozens of skilled and sexy guitarists before me, and maybe they did to her things that i would never be skilled enough to do...
But somehow she ended up here with me.
I believe we are happy together, and i'm not letting her go.

As you can see in the photo, some past owner decided to carve and burn his or her initials - "MB"- on the back of her body... ouch.
I'm hoping it wasn't Michael Bolton. (does he even play guitar?)
And it probably wasn't Michelle Branch, either. (not yet old enough at the time).

Anyhow --
Lovers may come and go, but i know she will always be my special love.

So -- what about you?
Musician or not, tell me about YOUR special "instrument."

and sometimes i just can't fall asleep.

4 years ago today,
a very great bassist passed away.
may he be resting in peace.

i wish i could rest in peace.

We've just had a WONDERFUL gig last Saturday at WHAT THE DICKENS, Ebisu.
To all the boys and girls who came out to see us, danced and sung with us,
THANK YOU SO MUCH for making it into such a great evening!
After our gig that night, the venue offered us another Saturday in August.
Will let you know the details when it nears.
Meanwhile -- our next gig is coming up later this month, on June 24th, Saturday,
at the Fiddler in Takadano-baba.
